The Journey to Launching TroveoCart

Where it all began?

I’ve always wanted something of my own. I had this idea tucked away for a while, but like any journey, it all started with a simple question: How do I make this real?

I decided to take the first step and enrolled in a masterclass that opened my eyes to the world of e-commerce. From there, I dove into research, watching videos, and learning from other entrepreneurs. Slowly, the pieces started to fall into place.

I figured out the “what” and the “how” - finding great products, identifying a niche, and understanding the kind of investment I would need. That’s when the foundation for TroveoCart started to take shape.

Curiosity has always been part of who I am. I like to take my time researching and analyzing before making big decisions. This journey was a reminder that betting on yourself is always worth it; even when it feels scary.

The Scary (But Beautiful) Stuff

Let me be honest: some parts of starting a business are intimidating. CIPC registration, picking a store name, registering a domain… the list feels endless. But I took it one step at a time, focusing on what mattered most.

Research became my best friend. I had to find products I genuinely loved, suppliers I could trust, and make decisions that felt right for my store. Every step taught me something new about business and about myself.

The Fun (and Challenging) Part

Customizing my store was equal parts exciting and challenging(I think I can add Front-end Developer to my skills). From picking the color scheme to writing product descriptions, I had to get it just right. And I did all this while juggling a demanding 9–5. Yes, some nights were long, but it felt worth every moment.

And Now…

After months of planning, learning, and building, TroveoCart is officially live! I’m beyond excited to share this journey and can’t wait for customers to fill their treasure carts with all the amazing finds we’ve put together.
