Welcome to TroveoCart. By accessing troveocart.co.za or placing an order or enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About TroveoCart
TroveoCart is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
We operate:
(a) An online store selling curated lifestyle and productivity tech products.
(b) A digital services studio offering website builds, booking systems,
and AI discoverability services to SA businesses.
These Terms apply to both the store and the services, unless a specific section states otherwise.
2. Orders and Payment (Store)
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
You will receive an order confirmation email after checkout. This is confirmation that we have received your order - not that it has been shipped. We reserve the right to cancel any order if a product is out of stock, incorrectly priced, or if fraud is suspected. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
Payment is processed securely via PayFast. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and Instant EFT. TroveoCart does not store payment card details.
Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice. The price displayed at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.
3. Shipping and Delivery (Store)
We ship across South Africa. Estimated delivery times are noted on product pages and in your order confirmation. These are estimates - delays caused by couriers, customs, public holidays, or events beyond our control are not our responsibility, but we will assist where we can.
Free shipping is available on qualifying orders above the threshold displayed on the site at the time of purchase. Shipping fees for non-qualifying orders are displayed at checkout.
Risk of loss and title for products passes to you on delivery.
4. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges (Store)
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on eligibility, timelines, and the return process. The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms of Service.
Summary: 7-day return window for eligible unused, unopened products.

5. Digital Services (B2B Clients)
TroveoCart offers website builds, booking systems, and AI discoverability services on a project basis.
Engagement and scope
All service work begins with a written proposal or quote. Work only commences once the proposal is accepted in writing (email confirmation is sufficient) and a deposit is received.
The scope of work is defined in your proposal. Work outside the agreed scope - additional pages, features, or revisions beyond the agreed allowance - is subject to a separate quote and additional fees.
Delivery and timelines
Delivery timelines stated in proposals are estimates. Timelines depend in part on the client providing required materials (copy, images, logo, brand assets) promptly. Delays caused by late content delivery from the client's side will affect the delivery date proportionally.
TroveoCart is not liable for delays caused by third-party platforms (Shopify, WordPress, or others) or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Outcomes and results
TroveoCart is responsible for the quality and completeness of the digital build as defined in the agreed proposal. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes - including leads generated, sales conversions, search rankings, or revenue - from any website, booking system, or AI discoverability strategy delivered.
Results depend on factors outside our control, including your pricing, your content, your offer, how you drive traffic, and market conditions.
We will always be transparent about this.
Intellectual property
On receipt of final payment, ownership of the delivered front-end build (code, design, content created by TroveoCart) transfers to you, the client.
TroveoCart retains the right to reference the project in its portfolio and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
Third-party platforms and licences remain the client's responsibility (e.g. Shopify subscription fees, domain registration, hosting costs).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TroveoCart's website or services to:
• Violate any applicable South African or international law or regulation
• Submit false or misleading information in an enquiry or order
• Engage in fraudulent transactions
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of TroveoCart or any third party
TroveoCart reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access to any user who breaches these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, TroveoCart shall
not be liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use
of the site or our services
• Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Damage or data loss resulting from delays, interruptions, or errors
on third-party platforms (Shopify, PayFast, courier partners)
• Any content on third-party websites linked from troveocart.co.za
Our total liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you paid to TroveoCart for the specific order or service in question.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Your use of troveocart.co.za is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it in full.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TroveoCart shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
